About Us

Dream to Reality Farm, LLC is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 Livestock Rehab and Animal Therapy Farm established in 2021.  We are located in Blanchester, Ohio on 15 acres.   We are a family who loves animals of all kinds.  We currently have goats,  lambs,  Emu, pigs, rabbits, roosters, and guinea fowl.  100% of the donations we receive goes into the feed, housing and medical needs of our animals.  

It all started years ago when we first purchased our farm and I (Lorie Orth) was working as a Marketing & Admissions Director for a Senior Living Community.  A friend talked me into purchasing my first goat, Leonard.  It all snowballed from there.  I began breeding goats for kids to show at 4H when I discovered how absolutely calming baby goats are.  My husband and I found ourselves outside every evening cuddling with the goats; adults and babies both.  We called it our "Defragging time".  All the worries of the day just magically melted away.  I then began bringing them to work with me so the residents could snuggle with them and the concept of "Goat Therapy" began.  Since roughly 2018 we have been providing what we call "Goat Therapy" to our many friends and family.  So now we travel with our animals to Senior Living Communities, Special Needs Schools & Adult Day Cares, Inner-city Schools, birthday parties and Employee Appreciation Events.  Basically, anywhere you need us!  STILL, 100% of the earnings from these "Goat Therapy" events goes back into the farm.

We breed the herd we owned before we became a nonprofit in order to keep baby goats in our program as well to help support the farm and to encourage children into joining 4H and showing goats at fair.
